    You all likely remember the name @Sendit_e90 as his E90 335i set the N54 stock turbo 1/4 mile record earlier this year. Since then he updated his 335i with a new build including a single turbo conversion and a built 6HP21 automatic transmission. The result is a new N54 platform 60-130 record of 5.16 seconds: Does the car have weight stripped out? Yes, as last report it weighed 26XX pounds. A record is a record and those who want to debate between full weight street cars and stripped out drag cars certainly can as many members did for page after page after @Sendit_e90 set the 1/4 mile record on factory turbos. Regardless, this is a quick sprint and maybe we'll see an N54 dip into the 4's 60-130 which would be a considerable stride for the platform.     Guys yes the BD was faster during their run, but they have ran pretty matched up times so far. One is a setup that has been repeated about 200+ times (68mm vtg) just by the one tuner alone, the other one is exactly that... One! I am sure there will be some improvement. I am happy to see at least two shops pushing the 911 platform to amazing levels! I am not sure about the GT2RS turbos as of yet, mostly because of price since they cost i believe in the 15K range, but if the price drops, or maybe we can locate them directly from BW, it adds a lot of additional cost to the typical build for similar performance. I would love to see them perform on longer runs like 1/2 mile. It can be possible that they might outperform the 68s just because of size. Maybe same power with less boost, lower EGTs, etc... Fadi's car did run in the 9.5s first time around which is amazing and he also posted 60-130 runs in the high 4s! that's super fast! I will waiting for a few more months to maybe see more data or more cars on the GT2RS turbos to make my decision of moving from a St.2 to a St.4. I would also love to see data how these compare to a typical non-vtg gt30 setup, especially drivability and torque down low...

    Recently a number of tuners contacted the Porscheboost Porsche Performance Forums due to false claims made by tuner Hydra Motor Works. Unfortunately, on the Porsche 991.2 3.0 platform a lot of tuning misinformation is being spread to the detriment of progress for the community. Hydra Motor Works tuned the Pure Turbos 991.2 hybrid upgrade and their results were, well, let's just say they made excuses: If Hydra Motor Works can not make more than 536 whp on the stock MAP sensor they simply do not know what they are doing. Blaming the MAP sensor as well as the Porsche PDK for their lack of tuning progress is dishonest and just muddies the waters. Mitch McKee (formerly Cobb's lead Porsche calibrator) was one of several tuners perplexed over these claims and he contacted BoostAddict/PorscheBoost to clarify some details: Proof of said 600 whp: Mitch McKee is correct. Gintani recently hit 31 psi on the Project 991.2 Carrera and over 600 rwhp on a Mustang dyno which is more conservative than a Dynojet. How is that possible if the MAP sensor is a limitation on the Dynojet at 535 whp as Hydra asserts? Furthermore, Dyno Spectrum, Cobb, and Gintani have all made more than 500 lb-ft of torque on the factory 991.2 3.0 PDK transmission. 500 lb-ft at the wheels on a Dynojet is not the limit or anywhere near it. Gintani simply stated Hydra does not know what they are doing and would not comment further without revealing how they are tuning the car. Basically, they said let Hydra figure it out. Here are further details from Mitch Mckee/Dyno Spectrum: It is our duty to correct tuning misinformation and Dyno Spectrum is quite correct, the amount of bad tuning information being spread and used as excuses for said bad tuning is scary. Suffice it to say, a handful of Porsche 991.2 3.0's are making over 600 whp. They just do not have Hydra Motor Works' tuning and anyone who wants to make that kind of power should look elsewhere.

    Cadillac is restructuring their sedans slightly as the flagship of the range is the CT6. The CT5 obviously falls below that and will be taking the place of the CTS. We all love the CTS because the CTS-V offers a 6.2 liter supercharged V8 with rear wheel drive. A rarity in today's performance mid-size luxury sedan class. There is no talk of a CT5-V. Frankly, there is not even talk of a V8. The CT5 only offers a 2.0 liter turbo four-cylinder and a twin turbo 3.0 liter V6. Exciting? Anything to rival the Germans? Not really. You do get a choice of rear wheel drive or all wheel drive mated to a 10-speed automatic. That's nice but what do these variants each weigh? Furthermore, what do these models cost? Cadillac has not revealed the full specifications or pricing. More details will come but for now the 5-Series, E-Class, and Porsche Panamera have absolutely nothing to worry about. DETROIT — Cadillac today revealed its first-ever CT5 sedan with a social media campaign designed to stimulate the senses using autonomous sensory meridian response, also known as ASMR. The videos focus on distinct sounds designed to trigger a physical response,** often experienced as a spine-tingling sensation, such as the rev of the CT5’s available 3.0L Twin Turbo engine, audio from its Bose® Performance Series speakers and the whisper of its custom black-and-white camouflage wrap slowly being peeled away to reveal the new sedan’s exterior. The CT5 “Sensory Symphony” series can be found on Cadillac’s YouTube page and social media channels. “The Cadillac CT5 is meant to overwhelm all of the senses, and that’s why we’re using ASMR-style videos to showcase its features,” said Deborah Wahl, Cadillac chief marketing officer. “The ‘Sensory Symphony’ videos are designed to convey for viewers the same satisfying feeling that arises from driving this car.” Cadillac collaborated with artist Darel Carey to create a one-of-a-kind camouflage wrap for the CT5. In the videos the camouflage is slowly peeled back to trigger the ASMR sensation while revealing the first-ever CT5. The brand will feature a new video each week leading up to the New York Auto Show, where the CT5 will make its public debut, culminating in a “Sensory Symphony” video of vehicle sounds on April 16. “Sound leaves a lasting impression, and that’s why it is such a focus for this vehicle,” said Brandon Vivian, Cadillac executive chief engineer. “With standard sound optimization and active noise cancellation, our goal is to deliver a world-class cabin experience with a Cadillac-exclusive curated sound library.” CT5 showcases Cadillac’s unique expertise in crafting American performance sedans, with details designed to elevate every drive. Built on an evolution of Cadillac’s award-wining RWD/AWD Alpha architecture, the CT5 features a standard 2.0L Turbo and available 3.0L Twin-Turbo engine with unique sound calibrations, each paired to a standard 10-speed automatic transmission offering nearly imperceptible shifts. The driver-centric cockpit inside the CT5 blends high tech and high touch for an exceptional blend of control tactility.     As you know the PorscheBoost 991.2 Project Carrera is at Gintani for installation of the full Tial Sport product suite as well as testing of the three main aftermarket manifold/header options. Well, Gintani decided to further refine their tune before changing the hardware. As a reminder, the car features the BoostAddict Stage 1 package which includes Tial M660 turbochargers with custom Gintani tuning and Fabspeed bypass pipes. Here is an overlay of where we are over where we were which was 540 rwhp: Those gains are with just with software changes alone. What does the car look like at 31 psi on 91 octane compared to the stock tune baseline? Yes, massive gains. We are at 600 rwhp currently. What does a 991.2 GT2 RS make on a Mustang dyno? Roughly 595-605 rwhp stock: Keep in mind we have yet to touch the intercoolers, headers, inlets, or go to race fuel. Just 91 octane pump fuel and meth injection for now. Yes, this is the world's most powerful 991.2 Carrera and we are nowhere near finished. #project991

    As you know Kratos his 1150 rear wheel horsepower in their BMW F80 M3 development car setting the power record on the platform. That was achieved at 41 psi. So what is the problem? Traction. Over 1000 horsepower to the rear wheels is not a joke. Kratos was able to hit 149 miles per hour with boost pressure turned down to only 30 psi. This means this car is capable of 160+ in the 1/4 mile and 180+ in the 1/2 mile rather easily at full boost. In order to really see what these turbos are capable of one will need to properly prep the car for the dragstrip.     Thank you! I know what you are saying but these fanboy guys all act like 10 year old kids. I'm seeing it everywhere, manipulations, false information spreading etc... They come into a post related with us and another car (which has no relation with BD) and they talk shit and expect welcoming? Then they talk about kindness, hate talk towards them etc.. so ironic. I was very kind and patient untill this year but i'm done, I'm aware of everything. I don't tolerate this anymore.

    Hey Emre, I have no beef in this video except for admiration for 911 but I do agree here that your tone is a bit excessive. We do know who is a better tuner. And I also understand your frustrations having to clarify on at least 3 different forums. Just wish the language written here was a bit nicer. Keep up the good work sir!
